It’s times like these that I’m really disappointed in the Doctor Who fandom. Just because David Tennant didn’t carry the Olympic Torch they’re making fun of Matt Smith and saying how he doesn’t deserve to just because there was an episode back in 2006 where Tennant’s Doctor carried and lit the Torch. Come on guys, give the guy a break and stop being mean. I’m ashamed to be in the same fandom as you.

Agreed^. This is one of those rare serious moments on Tumblr where I’m going to remind everyone that the show is fiction. The people, on the other hand, are real. Matt hasn’t done anything to deserve the hate that he has been getting. He can’t help the fact that he was cast when he was cast. Personally, I think he’s a fantastic doctor and, all jokes about his clumsiness aside, I’m happy that he got to carry the torch. Congrats Matt!

Re-blogging purely for the mention of Jesse. Because St. Berry was my first OTP in glee, all the way back in season 1 and they’ve remained my OTP, but I’m not going to deny that I’ve had a lot of fun on the Blainchel/Raine ship and it will always have a special place in my heart.
